Butting heads with her new husband’s aged housekeeper doesn’t make the transition from single to married life any easier. And then there is the task of getting on the good side of family matriarch, ninety-seven-year-old Dixie Mosconi who views Bessie as a “loose woman.”

Romance, mystery, humor, and adventure are part of Bessie’s new life as the Southern Ladies’ Curiosity Club takes root with a membership of four ~ all lovable, strong, charming, determined woman of the 1950s.
