Hard Times Come To Everybody is a fictional drama comedy novella about Zarvin McVells, a college educated young man, who loses his job and faces financial hardships before having to move back to his hometown and live with his parents along with his grandma, uncle, and his younger sister.

Lashonda Beauregard is from Alexandria, Louisiana, and has lived in Lafayette, Louisiana. She is a Peabody Magnet High School graduate and a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL). "I was voted most bashful, shyest girl back in high school."
