In this book Kathleen shares her experiences of growing up in Brooklyn, learning how to do everything the "city" way, and living with a large extended Italian and Irish family. As the story continues she ends up meeting her future husband, and he is from rural upstate New York!
After the wedding she moves to Upstate New York -- Farm Country! The story explores the differences between growing up in the city and then raising your family in the country. A series of brief easy to digest chapters let you experience a little bit of her life.
This is Kathleen's second memoir, focusing on the contrasts of life in the city and the country. In her first memoir "My Story" she explores and shares her spiritual journey through some difficult experiences. The author invites you to learn a little about her life, and perhaps at the same time learn a little more about yourself.

Author Kathleen Smith writes about her life. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY. She shares what it was like for her growing up in an Irish and Italian home with a little bit of English thrown in there. She shares not only about her childhood, but also about getting married, moving to Upstate NY, having a family and loosing her mom to cancer.
She also shares in her books what it was like for her to have three miscarriages. She shares her emotional struggles as well as her physical pain. She shares how she got through it all with the help of her husband and God.
