Part One

Benjamin Harrison Johnson heads west. He encounters fire, drenching rain, a cougar, and the most beautiful Palomino stallion he has ever seen. Four things change his life: meeting Jimmy Two Feathers who is searching for his twin sister; winning a ramshackle homestead in a poker game; learning that a young boy, Joseph, comes with it; and discovering oil on the property. Outlaws, the feisty young daughter of his housekeeper, and other characters bring drama and adventure to the Six Bar Ranch.

Part Two

Olivia, renowned horse trainer and heir, flees the Six Bar Ranch after a tragic accident, and spends seven years in a convent in Italy. Friends persuade her to get back in the game and prepare a horse for the Olympics. She ends up unconscious on a private island where she is cared for by the most beautiful man she has ever seen, but whom she will only ever know as John. She cannot resist his gentle touch, soft kisses, and the intimacy of such an idyllic, romantic setting. But her simple convent life draws her back to Italy, where John unexpectedly shows up. From that point on, her life takes one dramatic turn after another. Will she return to the Six Bar Ranch?
