Drummer Loves Dancer is an extraordinary story that brings together an unlikely pair of 20 somethings as they struggle with grief, trauma, secrets, faith, race, sex and their hopes for the future.

From the night in Seattle in 1954 when Lad MacAdam meets the beautiful and talented dancer Ginger DeForest from New York their lives are changed forever. As different as Seattle is from New York neither has any idea how deep their relationship will become nor where it will lead.

Lad, a drummer in the Puget Sound Scots Pipe Band, still grieves the death of his older brother, while beneath Ginger's smooth, sophisticated exterior she hides secrets that will severely test Lad's love and faith.
