Carol Ochadleus is a published novelist and short-story author. Her novel, Death and Other Lies, (originally published by Grey Wolfe Publishing, Inc. 2014), is the first in a trilogy. Death and Other Lies, a thriller with a built-in love story, has earned mostly five star reviews, including one from Readers' Favorite. One of her short stories, Colors in the Water, won inclusion in an American Anthology, Ni Bona Na Coroin, (Grey Wolfe Publishing, Inc., 2013). Her first illustrated children's book is Grandma Bear's Picnic, (Grey Wolfe Publishing, Inc. 2015). Years ago, as a young mother, one of Carol's children's stories was first published in a youth magazine.Carol’s short stories run the gamut from thriller to comedy, historical to romance. She loves to dabble in a wide variety of voices. She is active in several writing groups, continues to perfect her writing style and loves to help other writer's achieve their goals. Carol is a retired professional fund-raiser and spent decades writing professionally. Now she devotes her time to writing fiction, her award winning gardens and her grandchildren. She and husband, Don, live in the middle of the woods, near Rochester, Michigan, with their English Shepherd, Gracee and hundreds of woodland critters.
